Ambitious

Sorry all, I have been on a very long hiatcus ( Uni, work, life...) But I am BACK! Here is my hair regimen for 2016,  Notice somethings have not been changed from my old hair regimen. [LINK]

So this Summer, I have been on the quest to make all my health and beauty products more natural. The first change I had to do,was with my shampoo which dried out my hair- due to the sulfate.The first all natural cleanser that came to mind was African black soap which I grew up with in Nigeria.

With all my years of being natural, I have never washed my hair especially my scalp without any form of a cleansing agent such as shampoo or ACV. So the idea of just using conditioner, raised my eyebrow.

Honey being a humectant, has really helped me manage my hair while detangling and retaining moisture. I have seen that it has helped me control my dry scalp and I don't have to put too much oil on my scalp.
I use this with coconut oil and leave it on,-covered with 2 plastic bags and a beanie -…

Here are my Natural, Cheap and Cheerful hair essentials that I would recommend if you are going natural on a Budget (broke) and/or you live in a place where there are no Afro hair shops. Some I have been using for the past 3 years and the others I wish I knew earlier- would have made life easier.
